Holiday Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 Slices of white bread cubed
  • 1 pound cooked bulk pork sausage
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar or blends cheese
  • 10 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Pepper
Directions

Grease 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Line bottom of prepared dish with bread. Top with sausage and cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, mustard and salt and pepper. Pour over sausage mixture. (Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Chill.) Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake casserole until puffed and center is set, about 50 minutes. Cut into squares and serve.
