Blueberry Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 12 slices white bread
  • 1½ cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 c maple syrup
Directions

Thickly spread cream cheese on 6 slices of white bread. Place bread on bottom of a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Evenly distribute blueberries on top of bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Cube remaining 6 slices of white bread and sprinkle over blueberries. Combine eggs, milk, and maple syrup and mix well. Pour this mixture over bread cubes. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350F for 1 hour (½ hour covered with aluminum foil, ½ hour uncovered).
