Overnight French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 heaping cup brown sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 5 eggs
Directions

Melt butter, sugar and cinnamon together on stove. 

Pour into jelly
roll pan. Beat eggs, vanilla and milk and brush on both sides of bread (soak each piece generously), then place each slice side down on the
butter mixture already on the pan. 

Sprinkle the top side of bread with additional cinnamon. Cover with foil, place in refrigerator
and let stand overnight. The next morning, bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve with Butter and Maple Syrup
