- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 Tsp baking powder
- 1/2 Tsp baking soda
- 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1/2 Tsp cinnamon
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1/4 Cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1/2 Cup hot coffee
- 1/2 Cup raisins
- 1/2 Cup chopped walnuts
Icing
- 1/2 Cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp strong coffee
Directions
Sift together first 5 ingredinats in bowl.
In large bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add egg. Beat well. Add hot coffee and mix well.
Add flour mixture, mix well and then add raisins and walnuts. Mix well.
Spread in 9"x11" greased pan and beat at 350F about 30 minutes
Spread icing on top of warm coffee bars.
