Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter cut into pieces
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbl. butter
  • 1/2 cup confectionery sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 Tbl. heavy cream
  • 2 cups chopped pecans

Directions

For the crust, place the first three ingredience (butter, flour and sugar) in a food processor (or pastry blender) , blend until crumbly. Press the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake the crust at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool.

Combine the honey, brown sugar, melted butter and the heavy cream and whisk well. Fold in the pecans and mix until well combined. Pour the mixture into the cooked crust, spreading evenly. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the pecan mixture is bubbling. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before cutting.

*For best results use fresh ingredients.
