Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions
Sift together all ingredients, place in a plastic bag or decorative container at room temperature. Make sure container is large enough so that a bow or decorative ornament can be placed with the instuctions. Makes 1 package.

Corn Bread from a Jar:
Pour package of mix into a bowl. Add 1 egg, 1 cup milk, and 4 Tbsp. softened butter. Whisk or stir until smooth. Pour batter into a greased 8x8x2 inch baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
