- ½ lb. Bacon, diced
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 4 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Cup Karo (all-purpose syrup)
- ¾ tsp. Salt
- ¼ tsp. Paprika
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- ¾ cup water
- 1 bottle chili sauce (12 ounces )
- 1 lb. Hot Dogs
- 1 tbsp Corn Starch
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 lb pasta
Directions
Fry the bacon and onion in a skillet and drain off the excess fat. Next stir in the Worcestshire sauce, karo syrup, salt, paprika, lemon juice, water and chili sauce. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Add the 1 lb Hot Dogs (frankfurters, which have been cut into bite sizes) Simmer about 8 minutes or until they are hot. Blend the 1 Tbsp Corn Starch with 2 Tbsp Water. Stir into sauce, and boil for 1 minute while stirring.
Cook 1 lb pasta according to directions on box. Serve on hot pasta. (medium shells are nice as the caught the sauce in them.
