- 2 pounds fresh haddock filets
- 1.2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups soft bread crumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 lemons sliced
Sauté the onion, celery and mushrooms in the butter.
Remove from heat and stir the bread crumbs, salt, pepper and herbs.
Layer the fish in a greased baking
Top with fresh squeezed lemon juice.
Spread the stuffing over the fish.
Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until fish flakes.
