Crockpot Country Ribs

Ingredients

  • 2½- 3 pound country-style pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large onion, quartered and sliced ¼- to ½"-inch thick
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup tomato ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 3 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Dash black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
Directions

Trim off excess fat from ribs.
In a large skillet, brown ribs in oil; transfer to the crockpot.

Place onion slices over ribs. Combine all sauce ingredients; pour evenly over ribs and onions.

Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Serves 6
