Vermont Maple Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lbs chicken pieces
  • 2-4 T butter, melted
  • 1 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp. Grated lemon rind
  • 2 tsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds

Directions

Place the chicken in a buttered baking dish. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken. Bake uncovered for 50 to 60 minutes at 400 degrees. Baste occasionally.
