- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 celery stalk, chopped
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbs. chili powder
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- pepper to taste
Directions
Cook ground beef or turkey in skillet until no longer pink. Drain and remove from pan. Place olive oil in skillet, sauté onions and celery until limp. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cook over low heat for about 15 minutes or until it thickens. Season with pepper. Serve on large hamburger buns.
