Tomato Florentine Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 28 oz can chunky crushed tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic, chopped
  • 12 oz fresh spinach steamed and minced (can use a food processor)
  • 1 C diced green bell pepper
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Directions

Saute onions and garlic until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 minutes.
